| [The Pit, a.k.a. MacArthur Court, is buzzing with anticipation of P.N.W.'s third house show. The crowd now numbers nearly eight hundred. With the upsets of the previous week, the fans are learning that there are no "easy wins" in Pacific Northwest Wrestling. The crowd grows restless, waiting for the show to start.] |
| [Ninjas with Attitude strut down to the ring, smokin' some blunts or somethin'! Bovice holds the ropes for Van and they enter the ring. The crowd boos as the two ninjas throw a few insults to their detractors. The Weeds bound out from the back to a smattering of applause. Dick and Dillon Weed slide into the ring, only to be set upon by Van and Bovice. The referee rings the bell and Bovice lays a beating on Dillon. Dillon avoids a clothesline and makes the tag, and Dick gives Van a taste of that medicine! Bovice enters illegally and hits the Silverball Slam, bending Dick sideways. After being herded out of the ring, Bovice runs around the ring and holds back Dillon while Van makes the cover for the easy win.] |
| ["Generic" Bobby Smith, fresh off his upset victory from last week, enters the ring to a growing chorus of cheers. He stands at the ready as Olaf charges toward the ring, his echoing footsteps outstripping the boos cascading from the stands. Smith lunges at the leviathan, only to be caught by the neck and dropped hard with the Goozle! Olaf puts a foot on the Generic One's chest and stares down at him as the referee calls the three-count. After the match, Olaf begins searching his fallen opponent for cookies...] |
| [Johnny Wah, who like Bobby Smith scored a huge upset last week against R.C.K., enters the ring. He tosses his cowboy hat into the stands, then, remembering that he doesn't have the cash for another, goes into the crowd to retrieve it. He reenters the ring to await Robert Henry Clay, who has earned no fans among this crowd. He begins laying the sticks to the Japanese Cowboy, and it appears that Wah's fate will be similar to Bobby Smith's. Clay advances on Wah to finish him off when Wah quickly rolls the Southern Nightmare into a Schoolboy! Putting his feet on the ropes for leverage, the referee counts the one, two, th...Clay kicks out! Furious, Clay stands the young Wah up and drops him to the mat with some Southern Comfort. He picks up the pinfall as the crowd jeers. Clay assaults Wah after the match and lays the rebel flag over his prone body before leaving.] |
| [Grendel is out first, and he receives virtually no reaction from the crowd. The Preposterone Champion is out next, and he met with a combination of boos and cheers. Grendel doesn't even wait for him to enter the ring fully before attacking him. Grendel dominates the much smaller Rusty who is obviously still smarting from the beating he received at Havoc. The crowd is in awe of Grendel's new-found determination as he hefts Rusty up for his patented Running Powerslam. Rusty shoves off at the last second and executes the Run-By! Grendel bounces off the turnbuckle pad and Rusty locks in the Sustainer! Grendel struggles but is eventually dragged to the ground by the tenacious little grappler where he passes out. Rusty barely escapes with the victory.] |
